We’re Not Just Another Dating App

Dating Communities for Singles Who Are Ready for a Committed, Monogamous Relationship
The Problem
While over 40 million Americans use dating apps to connect with other singles, most platforms haven’t evolved much over time. And let’s be honest—many users are more interested in hookups than building real relationships.
Here are some of the biggest challenges:
Cost: Access to a quality dating site or singles events often comes with a hefty price tag.
Mental Fatigue: Swipe, swipe, swipe… it’s exhausting! Studies show that swipe-based apps contribute to higher anxiety, depression, and distress.
Safety Concerns: Nearly half of U.S. adults believe dating apps aren’t a safe way to meet people.
Our Solution
That’s where Eligible comes in! We’re reimagining the dating experience to make it safer, more intentional, and more enjoyable for singles serious about finding love.
At Eligible, every member is treated like a VIP with our Ready, Set, Go approach:
Ready: We screen for relationship readiness, check for violent criminal histories, and verify profile accuracy.
Set: Our Virtual Welcome Orientations help members maximize their dating experience with Eligible.
Go: Our “date local” model makes it easier to connect with matches in your area—no more long-distance stress! Plus, we host in-person events that celebrate Black love through fun, community-focused experiences.
